Your Plantation Chiropractor

Here at Stumpff Chiropractic in Plantation, we understand how frustrating pain can be. When you are in pain, the last thing you want is to seek treatment without getting any relief. Its Important that a Chiropractor understands that your unique condition and does a thorough consultation to determine the best treatment.

If you are like most patients, you look for the least invasive approach to manage your pain. This may be a visit to your primary care practitioner or, if you are familiar with alternative care, a visit to a chiropractor. Stumpff Chiropractic strives to be your first choice for all of your neck pain, back pain, and extremity pain needs.

What Is Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic care is a non-invasive approach used to treat a variety of conditions. This is done through the use of manual palpation of the area in question, orthopedic examination, neurological examination and biomechanics evaluation. After red flags (conditions that warrant emergency evaluation) are ruled out, treatment will be provided on your first visit.

If you are new chiropractic, you may not know what to expect. Chiropractic treatment does not involve surgery or medication. Specifically, treatment at Stumpff Chiropractic will include manual therapy, such as stretching or the use of tools to help stretch the muscles, and the adjustment. Unlike a visit to other doctors, chiropractic care is an intimate profession. This means that, rather than writing prescriptions or referrals, your visit will consist of palpation and physical touch to areas of pain and surrounding areas.

Chiropractic care is not only about pain relief, it is about the prevention of injuries and/or reoccuring injuries. At Stumpff Chiropractic we are not here to "crack your back." We are here to figure out your condition, walk you through it, and use the techniques necessary to help you get out of pain and keep it that way. Doesn't having all the available tools and knowledge sound more rewarding than having your "back cracked?"

After getting through the initial pain that brought you to our office in Plantation, continuing chiropractic care is a great way to remain pain free. As the pain subsides, the next step for you is to continue with exercises that can be utilized throughout your day. Many patients have shared their newfound goals and noted that a basic introduction to exercises and understanding their condition allows for a more health conscious lifestyle. Providing chiropractic care for minor tweaks or flare ups is a great way to continue to maintain optimal health. While we highly encourage you to schedule routine maintenance visits, we will never ask you to pay for any number of visits or length of care up front.
